FAQ

Common questions about Dynasty Cricket Co., our bats, and how we work.

Where are Dynasty bats made?

Every Dynasty bat is handmade in our Hertfordshire workshop. You’ll deal directly with the makers, before you buy and after.

What’s the difference between Forge, Origin, Nothing Hidden, and Custom?

  • Forge: a full-back profile with a slightly lower swell, suited to English conditions and straight-bat play.
  • Origin: a versatile full-back shape with a slightly higher swell for a larger driving area.
  • Nothing Hidden: individual pre-made bats from the workshop, shown exactly as they are, with honest willow and visible workmanship.
  • Custom Shop: we build your bat to your specs. See the Custom Shop.

How does willow grading work?

Willow is graded mainly on appearance, not performance. Full detail is on our Willow Grading page.

Do I need to knock a new bat in?

Yes. Start with lighter net sessions or softer balls so the bat can settle in. Follow our Bat Care & Warranty guide for oiling, storage, and early use.

What’s covered by the warranty?

Every Dynasty bat comes with a 6-month warranty against material or manufacturing defects, with free repairs on covered issues. See Bat Care & Warranty and After Sales for full terms.

Can I book a personal bat fitting?

Yes. Fittings are by appointment in Great Offley, Hertfordshire. Book via the Personal Bat Fitting page, or contact us on 07364 205064.

Do you repair bats?

Yes. Repairs and refurbishment are available through our Repairs page. Covered warranty issues are repaired free of charge within the warranty period.

Is Dynasty Cricket Co connected to another batmaker?

No. Dynasty Cricket Co is an independent batmaking workshop in Hertfordshire, owned and run as Dynasty Cricket Ltd.

The batmaker trained earlier in his career at one of the UK’s most established handmade bat workshops. That experience shaped how Dynasty bats are made. Dynasty is not a partner, affiliate, or trading name of any other maker. Every Dynasty bat is made in our Hertfordshire workshop.
